Takovo Apricot Brandy (Kajsijevača) — a Serbian apricot rakija from central Šumadija orchards. Distinctively perfumed, lightly sweet on the nose, and unmistakably apricot.
Heritage: Kajsijevača — apricot rakija — is a regional cousin of šljivovica, distilled from ripe summer apricots in the same village-still tradition. The fruit gives a sweeter, more floral spirit than plum, prized as a delicate digestif rather than a ceremonial pour.
Tasting notes: Clear with faint golden hue. Pronounced ripe-apricot aroma with a soft floral lift. Smooth, gently warming palate; clean fruit-driven finish.
Pairing: Sip neat at room temperature as a digestif. Excellent with dark chocolate, apricot tart, or alongside Turkish coffee.
