Rubin Car Lazar โ a Serbian dry red in the larger family-table format, named for the medieval Serbian prince Lazar who fell at the Battle of Kosovo in 1389. Robust dark fruit and the structured character of an everyday table red.
Heritage: Rubin AD has been making wine in Kruลกevac since 1955, in the same central Serbian town that was Prince Lazar's medieval capital. The Car Lazar โ Prince Lazar โ bottling evokes that historical anchor; the larger format makes it the choice for sharing at the family table.
Tasting notes: Deep ruby color. Robust dark fruit on the nose with hints of plum and black cherry. Full-bodied palate with smooth tannins and a balanced finish.
Pairing: Serve at cellar temperature. Excellent with hearty stews, grilled red meats, sarma, sausage platters, or aged hard cheese.
