Heritage: Bananko is Kraš's longstanding chocolate-covered banana bar — the Croatian counterpart to the wider Yugoslav banana-foam tradition, with the distinctive curved-bar shape and yellow wrapper diaspora kids recognize on sight. Kraš has been in Zagreb since 1911.
