Heritage: Žilavka is the iconic indigenous white grape of Herzegovina, grown on the karst-rocky soils around Mostar. Vinarija Čitluk has been a regional anchor of Herzegovinian wine production since 1949, with its Žilavka Mostar bottling reflecting the most established part of the Žilavka-growing region. The grape's name comes from žila (vein), referring to the prominent leaf venation.

Tasting notes: Pale straw with green hints. Crisp orchard fruit and citrus on the nose with a distinctive mineral edge from karst limestone. Medium-bodied palate with bright acidity and a clean stony finish.
