Heritage: Valjevo, a town in western Serbia at the foot of the Maljen mountain, has been brewing beer locally since the late nineteenth century. The town's soft mountain water and local malting tradition shape the beer's clean, distinctly Serbian regional character โ a contrast to the dominant national brands brewed in Belgrade and Apatin.
Tasting notes: Bright gold with a thick white head. Soft malt and grain bread on the nose with a balanced hop edge. Crisp, refreshing palate; clean dry finish.
Pairing: Serve ice-cold. Classic with ฤevapi, pljeskavica, kulen platters, grilled river fish, or a casual Serbian summer afternoon.
