Troyanska Slivovitz 7 Years — a Bulgarian aged plum brandy from the town of Troyan in the Balkan Mountain region, rested seven years in oak. Deep, complex, and rounded; one of the most respected Bulgarian rakija lineages.

Heritage: Troyan, in the Balkan Mountains of north-central Bulgaria, has been a center of slivova rakija (plum brandy) production for centuries, anchored by the mountain orchards and traditional alembic distillation. The seven-year oak aging develops the spirit from clean homestead šljivovica into an amber-colored brandy with the depth and complexity of fine cognac, while preserving the plum varietal character.

Tasting notes: Deep amber color. Concentrated dried plum on the nose with notes of vanilla, dried herb, and oak. Smooth, refined palate with developed warmth; long complex finish.

Pairing: Sip neat at room temperature in a tulip glass as a flagship digestif. Excellent with dark chocolate, walnut povitica, aged hard cheese, or alongside Turkish coffee.
