Grude Red Wine Vinegar — a Croatian red wine vinegar in the larger family-kitchen format, suitable for everyday dressings, marinades, and preserves. Bright acidity with characterful red-wine depth.
Heritage: Grude — taking its name from the Herzegovinian town near the Croatian border — produces traditional vinegars in the long-established regional tradition of slow-fermented wine vinegars. Red wine vinegar is the workhorse of Mediterranean and Balkan kitchens, anchoring salata, marinades, and the classic šopska dressing.
Tasting notes: Deep ruby color. Bright wine-derived aromatics with characteristic vinegar sharpness. Crisp, clean acid on the palate with a red-fruit undertone.
Use: Use in salad dressings, marinades for grilled meats, pickle brines, ajvar adjustments, and traditional šopska salad. A few drops also brighten bean stews and lentil dishes.
