Murfatlar Special Reserve Pinot Grigio — a Romanian dry white from the Special Reserve lineup, built on the international Pinot Grigio varietal. Crisp, mineral, and refined; Pinot Grigio rendered with Romanian Black Sea character.
Heritage: Murfatlar is one of Romania's most established wine houses, with vineyards near the Black Sea coast in the Dobrogea region. The Special Reserve line denotes the producer's premium-tier bottlings, with extended cellar attention and select-vineyard sourcing. Pinot Grigio in the Romanian style shows fuller body than the typical northern-Italian pour, with a distinct mineral edge from the limestone soils.
Tasting notes: Pale straw color. Crisp green apple and citrus on the nose with a subtle floral lift. Medium-bodied palate with refreshing acidity and a clean mineral finish.
Pairing: Serve well chilled. Excellent with grilled fish, fresh salads, light pasta, or as a refined aperitif.
