A bottle of dark kvass pulled cold from the fridge on a hot day is a taste every Baltic and Slavic household remembers from summer. This 500ml (16.9 fl oz) dark rye bread kvass is made from water, sugar, roasted rye malt, and rye flour, produced by Gubernija Brewery (est. 1665) in Lithuania and imported by B&J Overseas Trading of Van Nuys, CA; contains gluten. Serve it well chilled — natural sediment may settle at the bottom of the bottle. It's traditionally poured alongside ćevapi hot off the grill.
