Grandma's Beef Pelmeni — Siberian winter-dinner standard. Beef-stuffed small pelmeni in the Russian Siberian tradition — the cold-weather Sunday-lunch dumpling that built the Russian household-freezer ritual. Boil briefly until they float, drain, finish with butter, smetana, dill, and cracked pepper. Vodka chase optional, dark rye on the side, the classic Russian-Ukrainian diaspora dinner.
