Emporia Blatina — a dry Bosnian red built around the indigenous Blatina grape of Herzegovina. Robust dark fruit and the sun-drenched character of Herzegovina's karst vineyards.

Heritage: Blatina is the signature red grape of Herzegovina, grown almost exclusively in the southern half of Bosnia and Herzegovina where Mediterranean influences reach inland from the Adriatic. The Žilavka-and-Blatina pairing — white and red — anchors the country's wine identity.

Tasting notes: Deep ruby color. Robust dark berry and ripe plum on the nose with a hint of Mediterranean herb. Full-bodied palate with structured tannins and a long finish.

Pairing: Serve at cellar temperature. Excellent with grilled lamb, pršut, kulen, aged hard cheese, or peka-cooked meats.
