Darna Teranino — a Croatian sweet liqueur built around the indigenous Istrian Teran grape. Rich, fruity, and spiced; a uniquely Istrian alternative to standard berry-based liqueurs.
Heritage: Teran is the indigenous red grape of Istria, prized for its deep color and high acidity in dry wines. Teranino captures the Teran character in liqueur form — fermented Teran wine sweetened and spiced into a digestif that's been an Istrian household specialty for generations. Darna interprets the tradition at commercial scale.
Tasting notes: Deep ruby-purple color. Pronounced ripe berry aroma with warm spice and a faint vanilla edge. Sweet, fruit-forward palate with the gentle warmth of mulled wine; clean spiced finish.
Pairing: Serve chilled or over ice. Excellent over dark chocolate desserts, alongside walnut povitica, or mixed into festive cocktails.
