Heritage: Burgas 63 takes its name and identity from Bulgaria's Black Sea port city. The Black Sea coast and inland Thracian Plain produce the country's grape rakias — a tradition that runs back through the Ottoman era to ancient Thracian winemaking.
Tasting notes: Deep amber color. Aroma of dried fruit, oak, and a touch of vanilla. Full, warming palate with restrained heat and a long, layered finish.
Pairing: Sip neat at room temperature in a tulip glass as a digestif. Excellent with sirene cheese, dark chocolate, or alongside Turkish-style coffee.
