This is Belveder's chopped pickled sorrel, szczaw siekany, from a Polish company founded in 1980; it's vegan and vegetarian. Stir it into soup or spoon it out as a tangy side. It plays the same role ajvar does on the table, a sharp condiment alongside somun and the rest of the spread.
