Bandi Cottage Cheese 9% — Lithuanian cottage cheese in the 300g (10.6oz) format from Bandi, the traditional 9% milk-fat version. Varškė (Lithuanian) / тво́рог (Russian tvorog) — the classic Baltic-Slavic fresh-curd cheese. Crumbly quark-style, fresh-curded, milky-mild and lightly tangy — the 9% fat gives this a fuller, creamier body than lower-fat farmer cheeses. Good for syrniki (fried farmer-cheese cakes — the Lithuanian/Russian breakfast classic), vareniki sweet or savory filling, cheese-blintz filling, or the spoon-eaten breakfast with honey + walnut + sour cherry.
