We can't ship perishable items (food, dairy, frozen) outside our local delivery zones. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, or events outside our control.

1. Free in-store pickup
Best value. Order online, pick up at the store.
Available at both Hamilton Euromarket locations:

Ready in 2 hours during store hours (MonβSat 9 AM β 8 PM Β· Sun 9 AM β 7 PM)
5% off your order when you choose pickup at checkout
You'll get an email/SMS when your order is ready
Bring photo ID; we can release the order to anyone who shows the order confirmation
Pickup window: 7 days from the "ready" notification. If you can't make it, contact us β we'll hold longer or refund.
2. Local delivery
For customers within 20 miles of San Jose or Alhambra.
We deliver MonβSat. Orders placed before noon are delivered the same day; orders placed after noon (or on Sundays) are delivered the next business day.

Delivery is handled by DoorDash Drive on our behalf. You don't need a DoorDash account β the dasher delivers from us directly.
Important:
Someone over 18 must be home to accept the delivery. We will not leave perishable orders unattended.
If alcohol is in your order, the recipient must show a valid government ID confirming age 21+.
If no one is available to accept the delivery, the dasher will return it to the store. A redelivery fee applies for a second attempt.
3. Shipping (UPS / USPS) across California
For non-perishable items only, anywhere in California.
Free shipping on orders over $175
Under $175, shipping is calculated at checkout based on weight and ZIP code (typically $8β$15)
Estimated delivery: 1β3 business days from when we hand off to the carrier
Orders placed before noon (MonβSat) ship the same day
Orders placed after noon or on Sundays ship the next business day
You'll receive a tracking number by email when your order ships
We do not ship outside California. Shipping perishables across state lines isn't reliable for the quality we want to deliver. If you're outside CA, contact us β we can sometimes arrange custom shipping for shelf-stable items.

5. Order processing time
Most orders are processed within 2 hours during business hours.
Large orders (>50 items) or special-request items may take longer β we'll contact you if so.
We don't process orders on Sundays for shipping (in-store pickup and local delivery still run).
During major holidays (Christmas, Easter, Eid, Bajram, Slava season), processing may take an extra day. We'll post notices on the homepage when this is happening.
6. Delays and damage
Carrier delays. Once we hand your order to the shipping carrier, delivery timing is up to them. We are not liable for delays caused by carriers, weather, holiday volume, or events outside our control. If your order is taking unusually long, contact us β we'll investigate with the carrier on your behalf.
Damaged in transit. If your order arrives damaged, take photos and contact us within 48 hours at info@hamiltoneuromarkets.com (or call your nearest store). We'll replace the items or refund them, no questions asked. See our Return & Refund Policy for details.
Wrong item or missing item. Same 48-hour window. Take photos of what arrived and what's missing.
7. Title and risk of loss
Title and risk of loss pass to you when:
You pick up the order in-store, OR
The local delivery dasher hands the order to you, OR
The shipping carrier (UPS/USPS) takes possession at our store
This is standard for most retail. The damage and missing-item windows above apply regardless.
