Râureni Mâncare de Fasole is a traditional Romanian ready-to-eat bean stew. It is made with 60% beans simmered with onion, carrot, tomato paste, parsnip and sunflower oil, seasoned with salt, sugar and ground pepper, then sterilized in the jar so it keeps without refrigeration. The 310g (10.9oz) serving heats in minutes for a hearty, meat-free meal. Produced in Romania. Store in a cool, dry place; refrigerate after opening.
Râureni is a Romanian cannery from Râmnicu Vâlcea whose preserving tradition dates to the 1960s. Since 2008 it has been owned by the Annabella group, founded by entrepreneurs Dorina and Dan Mutu, who invested in modern technology to produce over 150 varieties of jams, compotes, vegetable conserves and natural juices. Today Râureni is one of Romania's best-known preserves brands, exporting to more than 20 countries across five continents.
