A small dish of dark, syrupy walnut preserve served alongside coffee is an Armenian tradition, made from whole green walnuts candied in syrup. This 450g (15.9oz) preserve of young green walnuts, sugar, citric acid, and spices is made by Euroterm in Yerevan, Armenia, and imported by Indo-European Foods of Commerce, CA; contains tree nuts (walnut). Store it in a cool, dry place, and once opened keep it refrigerated. Serve a spoonful alongside Turkish coffee, the traditional pairing.
