Mljekara Livno Livanjski Trapist Cheese, Bosnian 300g (10.6oz)
Mljekara Livno Livanjski Trapist Cheese — Bosnian Trapist cheese in the 300g (10.6oz) format from the Mljekara Livno dairy in the Livno region of Bosnia-Herzegovina. The Trapist tradition arrived in Bosnia via Trappist monks at Marija Zvijezda monastery near Banja Luka — a European alpine hard-cheese form translated into Bosnian dairy. Slice-firm, rind-mottled, age-deepened, mild-yellow interior — closer to a Swiss/Alpine register than to the pasta-filata Kashkaval/Cascaval cluster. The right pour for the cheese-board centerpiece (sliced alongside crackers and Bosnian honey), the sandwich slice with black bread and mustard, the breakfast toast slice, or the Slava-table cheese course. Distinct from Mljekara Livno's Classic variant — the Trapist is the alpine-monastery-tradition register.
