White Kandit chocolate was the one that went missing from the baking drawer before the cake ever got made — too easy to break off a square and eat it plain. Kandit of Osijek makes it from sugar, cocoa butter, skimmed milk powder, and vegetable fat, with a minimum 21.5% white chocolate solids, 200g (7.05oz); contains milk and soya, and may contain hazelnuts, almonds, peanuts, eggs, and gluten. Melt it for coatings and drizzles, or eat a square plain. Add a sachet of Yumis vanilla sugar from the same baking shelf for the classic Balkan cake combo.
