Why is Plazma iconic in ex-Yugoslavia?
Bambi was founded in 1967, launched Plazma a year later, and now calls it one of its best-selling products (source). It started as a variation on Italian Plasmon biscuits; Plasmon sued and lost, and the two sides agreed to split markets (source). Outside ex-Yugoslavia it is sold as Lane (source).
