About Swisslion Takovo
Swisslion, founded 1997 in Vršac, Serbia, acquired majority ownership of Gornji Milanovac's Takovo food combine in 2004 to form Swisslion-Takovo. Gandola & C. — the defining spread brand of former Yugoslavia. Takovo's own founding date is inconsistently reported across sources (1922/1941/1959/1962) and left unresolved. Headquarters: Vršac / Gornji Milanovac, Serbia. Founded 1997. Official site: swisslion-takovo.com/en.
