Varancha Busuioacă de Bohotin Rosé — a Moldovan semi-sweet rosé from the rare indigenous Busuioacă de Bohotin grape. Wild-rose and strawberry aromatics; one of Eastern Europe's most distinctive rosé varietals.
Heritage: Busuioacă de Bohotin — Basil of Bohotin — is an aromatic indigenous grape native to the Romanian-Moldovan wine border around Bohotin in Iași. The variety produces uniquely perfumed rosé wines, prized for their wild-rose and stone-fruit aromatics. Varancha bottles in the traditional semi-sweet style.
Tasting notes: Pale pink color. Enchanting aroma of wild roses and ripe strawberries. Soft, gently sweet palate with refreshing acidity; clean floral finish.
Pairing: Serve well chilled. Excellent with fruit-based desserts, light cheese platters, or as a celebratory aperitif on a sunny afternoon.
Pack: 750ml glass bottle. Store upright in a cool, dark place; consume within a few days of opening.
