Stobi Vranec Classic — North Macedonia's flagship indigenous red, made from the Vranec grape that gives Balkan tables their everyday dark wine. Vibrant ruby color, ripe berry character, and a smooth, food-friendly palate.
Heritage: Stobi Winery takes its name from the ancient Roman city near Gradsko in central North Macedonia, on the route that once linked the Aegean to the Danube. Vranec — meaning black stallion in local Slavic — is the country's most planted red grape and the foundation of Macedonian winemaking.
Tasting notes: Vibrant ruby color. Intense berry aromas with juicy blackcurrant and plum notes. Medium-bodied palate with smooth tannins and a balanced finish.
Pairing: Serve at cellar temperature. Excellent with kebapi, mućkalica, šopska salad, moussaka, or aged hard cheese.
Pack: 750ml glass bottle. Store on its side in a cool, dark place.
