Tearing open a warm somun on the walk home from the pekara is one of the clearest tastes of home for anyone who grew up in Bosnia. This Somun flatbread (lepina) is baked by Jami d.o.o. of Sarajevo, founded in 2005, and quick-frozen as baked yeast dough — keep it frozen until you're ready, in a pack near 400g (14.11oz). Thaw and warm it before serving. Split it and spread it with Eurocrem for breakfast, or serve it under a plate of ćevapi the way it's always done back home.
