Festigia Castello — a Croatian premium red from the Istrian peninsula, blending Mediterranean ripeness with structured tannins. Deep ruby color and an aromatic profile of black currant and cherry; a step up from entry-level Istrian reds.
Heritage: Festigia is the premium wine label of Agrolaguna, one of Istria's largest wine producers, working with growers across the peninsula's red-and-white soil appellations between the Adriatic and the Učka mountains.
Tasting notes: Deep ruby color. Black currant, cherry, and caramel notes on the nose. Full-bodied palate with structured tannins and a long, balanced finish.
Pairing: Serve at cellar temperature (64-68°F). Excellent with roast meats, pašticada, ripe hard cheeses, or peka-cooked lamb.
Pack: 750ml glass bottle. Store on its side in a cool, dark place; decant 30 minutes before serving.
