Djerdan Burek Tulumba is a traditional crispy fried pastry steeped in sweet vanilla syrup, made in the USA in the Balkan tradition. The dough is made from wheat flour, eggs, canola oil, water, sugar and salt, then soaked in a syrup of water, sugar and vanilla sugar. Net weight 600g. Halal. Contains eggs and wheat. Keep frozen until ready to serve.
Djerdan Burek was founded in 1997 by a Bosnian refugee family in Astoria, Queens, and has grown into a beloved Balkan food brand. In 2014 the company opened a production facility in North Jersey, and its hand-crafted phyllo pies and traditional pastries are now sold across all 50 states. Tulumba is made from cherished family recipes passed down through generations.
