Brother & Sister Food Services Inc. was established in 1998 by Aziz Sahovic, a Bosnian-born entrepreneur who set out to bring authentic Balkan culinary traditions to the Bosnian diaspora and the wider American market; his son Vedad now leads production. The company operates a 150,000+ square foot facility in Mechanicsburg, near Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, with a mailing address at 811 Spangler Rd, Camp Hill, PA 17011. The plant is USDA inspected and holds HACCP and SQF certification. Its flagship products - cevapi and pljeskavice - are made from a blend of beef and veal seasoned with traditional Balkan spice blends, alongside smoked and cured lines including suho meso, sudzuk, cajna, kulen and goveda prsuta, canned luncheon meats and goulash, and fully cooked chicken and veal deli meats. A large share of the range is offered in parallel Halal versions, making the brand a staple for both the ex-Yugoslav diaspora and Muslim communities across the US.
