Heritage: Jabukovača — apple rakija — is one of the regional cousins of the Balkan plum-brandy tradition, distilled from the same village orchards but rendering apple rather than plum. The fruit gives a softer, sweeter spirit than šljivovica with a distinctive orchard character.
Tasting notes: Clear with faint golden hue. Pronounced ripe apple on the nose with a hint of cider-like fragrance. Full, warming palate; clean fruit-driven finish.
Pairing: Sip neat at room temperature as a digestif. Excellent over apple pie, alongside aged cheese, or as a warming pour on a cold evening.
