Festigia Istrian Malvasia — Croatia's flagship white grape rendered in a clean, modern style by the Festigia label. Bright, mineral, and food-friendly; the white that coastal Istrian restaurants pour alongside fresh fish and truffle pasta.
Heritage: Malvazija Istarska is Istria's signature white grape — a unique local clone of the Malvasia family, grown on the peninsula's red-and-white soils between the Adriatic and the Učka mountains. Festigia is part of Agrolaguna, one of the largest wine producers in the region, working with Istrian growers across multiple appellations.
Tasting notes: Clear green-gold. Citrus blossom, white peach, and a faint Mediterranean herb note on the nose. Crisp, lively palate with stone-fruit body, a touch of salinity, and a clean mineral finish.
Pairing: Serve well chilled. Excellent with grilled white fish, scampi na buzaru, truffle pasta, prosciutto and Paški sir, or simply a plate of olives.
