Heritage: Soplica was founded in 1891 by Bolesław Kasprowicz and has anchored the Polish liqueur shelf ever since. The hazelnut bottling — orzech laskowy — captures the warm dessert-nut flavor profile that pairs naturally with Polish coffee-table culture, where a small shot of nalewka follows espresso and szarlotka into the late evening.
Tasting notes: Pale amber. Pronounced toasted hazelnut nose with hints of vanilla and praline. Smooth medium-sweet palate with creamy nut warmth; long dessert finish.
Pairing: Serve chilled neat in a small glass, on the rocks, or over vanilla ice cream. Excellent with sernik, szarlotka, makowiec, or alongside Polish kawa.
