Varancha Reserve Muscat Ottonel — a Moldovan aromatic white from Muscat Ottonel, in the Reserve tier of the Varancha lineup. Floral, lifted, and refined; Muscat Ottonel at premium tier.
Heritage: Muscat Ottonel — a French-Hungarian crossing of the broader Muscat family — has been cultivated in Moldova and Romania for over a century, becoming one of the region's signature aromatic white grapes. The Reserve line in the Varancha lineup denotes extended cellar attention and select-vineyard sourcing.
Tasting notes: Pale gold color. Pronounced orange blossom and ripe stone fruit on the nose with a honeyed lift. Medium-bodied palate with gentle sweetness balanced by fresh acidity; clean aromatic finish.
Pairing: Serve well chilled. Excellent with fruit-based desserts, soft cheeses, foie gras, or as an aromatic aperitif.
