Kosova Wine Vranac Extra 2015 — a Kosovan dry red from the Rahovec wine valley, built around the Vranac grape shared across the western Balkans. Robust, dark-fruited, and structured; a vintage expression of Kosovar winemaking.
Heritage: The Rahovec valley — Orahovac in Serbian, Rahovec in Albanian — has been Kosovo's primary wine region since the medieval era, with vineyards continuously cultivated through the Ottoman era and Yugoslav period. Vranac is shared across the broader Macedonian-Montenegrin-Kosovar belt as a signature dark red.
Tasting notes: Deep ruby color. Robust dark fruit on the nose with hints of black cherry and ripe plum. Full-bodied palate with firm tannins and a long finish.
Pairing: Serve at cellar temperature. Excellent with roasted lamb, grilled meats, hearty stews, or aged hard cheese.
Pack: 750ml glass bottle. Vintage 2015. Store on its side in a cool, dark place; decant before serving.
