Tikveš T'ga Za Jug Vranec Semi-Dry Red Macedonian Wine 750ml (25.4fl oz)
Tikveš T'ga Za Jug — a Macedonian semi-dry red built on Vranec, the country's signature indigenous grape, named after a famous Macedonian poem. Robust dark fruit with gentle residual sweetness; perhaps Macedonia's most recognized wine.
Heritage: T'ga Za Jug — Yearning for the South — takes its name from the iconic poem by Konstantin Miladinov, the great nineteenth-century Macedonian poet who wrote of longing for his southern homeland while exiled in the north. The poem and the wine have become inseparable cultural anchors. Vranec, the country's flagship indigenous red, gives the wine its characteristic depth.
Tasting notes: Deep ruby color. Concentrated dark fruit and ripe plum on the nose with a soft floral lift. Medium-to-full body with gentle sweetness balanced by structured tannins; long fruit-driven finish.
Pairing: Serve at cellar temperature. Excellent with kebapi, ajvar-glazed meats, grilled lamb, or aged kashkaval cheese.
Pack: 750ml glass bottle. Store on its side in a cool, dark place.
