Tohani Mosia de la Tohani Tămâioasă Românească 2024 — a Romanian aromatic white from the indigenous Tămâioasă Românească (Romanian Frankincense) grape, vintage 2024. Perfumed, distinctive, and uniquely Romanian.
Heritage: Tămâioasă Românească — Romanian Frankincense — is one of Romania's most distinctive indigenous white grapes, an aromatic Muscat-family variety prized for its perfumed orchard-blossom and incense-like character (hence the name). The Tohani Mosia label bottles the variety at estate tier from the Dealu Mare region.
Tasting notes: Pale gold color. Pronounced floral and orchard-blossom aromatics with a hint of orange peel and honey. Medium-bodied palate with crisp acidity and a long perfumed finish.
Pairing: Serve well chilled. Excellent with fruit-based desserts, soft cheeses, light poultry in cream sauces, or as a perfumed aperitif.
