Minkov Brothers Cabernet Sauvignon — a Bulgarian dry red built on Bordeaux's signature varietal. Concentrated black fruit and elegant structure; a step up from entry-tier Bulgarian Cabernet.
Heritage: Minkov Brothers is one of Bulgaria's more established modern wineries, drawing on the country's deep tradition of growing French varietals alongside indigenous grapes like Mavrud and Melnik. The Bulgarian climate and soil give Cabernet Sauvignon a fuller, more ripe-fruit profile than classic Bordeaux dry styles.
Tasting notes: Deep ruby color. Concentrated blackcurrant and black cherry on the nose with a hint of cedar. Full-bodied palate with fine tannins and a long finish.
Pairing: Serve at cellar temperature. Excellent with roasted red meats, moussaka, lamb dishes, or aged hard cheese.
Pack: 750ml glass bottle. Store on its side in a cool, dark place; decant 30 minutes before serving.
