Kosova Wine Syrah Reserve 2015 — a Kosovar Reserve-tier Syrah from the Rahovec wine valley, vintage 2015. Bold, structured, and spicy; Syrah rendered with the depth of Kosovar terroir.
Heritage: The Rahovec valley — Orahovac in Serbian, Rahovec in Albanian — has been Kosovo's primary wine region since the medieval era. Syrah is one of the international varietals grown alongside indigenous Vranac and Prokupac, giving Kosovar wineries an internationally recognizable expression. The Reserve tier denotes extended cellar attention and select-vineyard sourcing.
Tasting notes: Deep ruby color. Dark fruit, black pepper, and a hint of oak on the nose. Full-bodied palate with smooth tannins and a long structured finish.
Pairing: Serve at cellar temperature. Excellent with grilled red meats, lamb dishes, kebapi, or aged hard cheese.
