Heritage: Đakovačka Vina — the Đakovo wine cellars — works the fertile Slavonian plain in eastern Croatia, a region historically anchored by Graševina but increasingly producing international varieties like Sauvignon Blanc. The continental climate and clay-loam soils give Slavonian Sauvignon a fuller, slightly riper profile than its cool-climate counterparts.
Tasting notes: Pale straw color. Crisp citrus and green-fruit aromatics with a subtle herbaceous edge. Light-bodied palate with refreshing acidity and a clean finish.
Pairing: Serve well chilled. Excellent with grilled fish, fresh garden salads, goat cheese, or as an aperitif.
