Crama Ceptura Bucuria Cabernet Sauvignon — a Romanian semi-dry red built on Bordeaux's most planted varietal. Soft, food-friendly, and accessible; Cabernet rendered in the gentler Eastern European style.
Heritage: Crama Ceptura is a Romanian winery based in the Prahova wine region of the southern Carpathian foothills. Romanian Cabernet Sauvignon traditions run back to French varietal introductions in the nineteenth century, with the local style typically softer and slightly sweeter than dry Bordeaux Cabernet.
Tasting notes: Deep ruby color. Blackcurrant and ripe cherry on the nose with a hint of dried herb. Medium-bodied palate with mellow tannins and a smooth finish.
Pairing: Serve at room temperature. Excellent with roast beef, sarmale, hearty stew, or aged hard cheese.
