Heritage: Loacker has been a family-run alpine confectioner since 1925, when Alfons Loacker opened his first pastry shop in Bolzano. The third generation now runs production from above 1,000 meters on the Renon plateau in South Tyrol. For Balkan families, Loacker wafers crossed the trade routes early and became a household coffee-table standard alongside local brands.
