Heritage: Ciucaș takes its name and identity from the limestone peaks that loom over the brewery's hometown of Brașov. The Carpathian setting matters — soft mountain water shapes the beer's clean profile, and the brand has become one of the country's most recognizable lagers, a staple of weekend grills, football matches, and family meals across the region and the diaspora.
Tasting notes: Pale gold with a quick-falling white head. Soft malt and grain bread on the nose with a light floral hop edge. Crisp, lightly bitter palate; clean dry finish.
Pairing: Serve well chilled. Classic with mititei, grilled chicken, sarmale, salată boeuf, or simply a plate of pickles and slănină.
