Crama Ceptura Bucuria Muscat Ottonel — a Romanian semi-sweet white built on the aromatic Muscat Ottonel grape. Sweet floral nose, sun-ripened orchard fruit; a Romanian friendly semi-sweet for casual occasions.
Heritage: Crama Ceptura works with vineyards in the Prahova wine region of the southern Carpathian foothills. Muscat Ottonel — a French Muscat-family varietal introduced in the nineteenth century — produces some of Eastern Europe's most aromatic whites, especially in its semi-sweet expressions.
Tasting notes: Pale gold color. Pronounced orange blossom and stone fruit on the nose with a soft floral lift. Sweet-tart palate with gentle Muscat character; clean refreshing finish.
Pairing: Serve well chilled. Excellent with fruit tarts, light desserts, soft cheeses, or as a casual celebratory pour.
