Vršacko Vinogorje Muskatna Lozova Rakija — a Serbian grape rakija distilled from Muscat-family grapes in the Vršac wine region. Aromatic, floral, and pure; the Muscat character carried into clear spirit.
Heritage: Vršac in northern Serbia's Banat region is one of the country's most established wine areas, dating to Roman cultivation. Muscat — including the local Tamjanika variety — gives uniquely perfumed grape rakijas distinct from standard loza distillation.
Tasting notes: Crystal-clear. Lifted floral and grape aromatics on the nose with a faint orange-blossom note. Smooth palate, gentle warmth, and a clean aromatic finish.
Pairing: Serve neat at room temperature as a traditional toast or a spirited digestif. Excellent alongside smoked meats, kulen, or aged sheep's-milk cheese.
