Podrum Pevac Medena — a honey-forward Serbian liqueur built around real wildflower honey. Smooth, golden, and naturally sweet; a medovina-style liqueur made for sipping rather than mixing.
Heritage: Podrum Pevac translates as Rooster Cellar — a small-batch Serbian house specializing in honey-based spirits. Medovina-style liqueurs have deep Slavic roots; honey was the first sweetener of the region and remains the heart of folk liqueurs across the western Balkans.
Tasting notes: Deep golden hue with viscous legs. Pronounced wildflower honey on the nose with a faint herbal edge. Silky, sweet palate with a warming spirit base and a clean, lingering honey finish.
Pairing: Serve chilled in small glasses as a digestif. Excellent with walnut povitica, baklava, sharp cheese, or drizzled over vanilla ice cream.
