Lev Black Lion Premium Dark Beer — a Bulgarian dark lager built around roasted malt and a smooth, full finish. Caramel and toasted-bread character; a step beyond pale lager for darker tastes.
Heritage: Dark lagers — schwarzbier in the German tradition, černé pivo in Czech, and known across Bulgaria and the Balkans as a sturdy alternative to pale beer — use kilned darker malts for color and toasted flavor without the heavy body of stouts. Lev bottles in this style.
Tasting notes: Deep mahogany color with an off-white head. Roasted malt, caramel, and a hint of dark bread on the nose. Smooth, medium-bodied palate; clean dry finish.
Pairing: Serve cool. Excellent with hearty stews, grilled sausages, roast pork, or aged hard cheese.
