Heritage: Podrum Pevac bottles fruit rakija from Serbia's Šumadija region, with the Desetka (Ten) line denoting the producer's ten-year aged šljivovica. Extended oak aging transforms the clean homestead spirit into a rounded amber expression with notes of dried fruit, vanilla, and woody warmth, comparable to fine cognac or aged whisky in cellar work but distinctly Serbian in fruit character.
Tasting notes: Deep amber color. Concentrated dried plum on the nose with notes of vanilla, dried herb, and oak. Smooth, refined palate with developed warmth; long complex finish.
Pairing: Sip neat at room temperature in a tulip glass as a flagship digestif. Excellent at a slava, with dark chocolate, walnut povitica, or alongside Turkish coffee.
