Kakhuri Gvinis Marani Kindzmarauli — a Georgian semi-sweet red from the Kvareli area of Kakheti, made from indigenous Saperavi grapes. Deep color, ripe fruit, and the gentle sweetness that defines the Kindzmarauli style.
Heritage: Kindzmarauli is one of Georgia's most famous appellations — a designated wine region in the Alazani Valley where Saperavi grown on alluvial soils ferments into the country's signature semi-sweet reds. The style dates to the Soviet era and remains beloved across the Caucasus diaspora.
Tasting notes: Deep ruby with a violet rim. Black cherry, ripe forest berry, and a faint fig note on the nose. Round, gently sweet palate balanced by lively acidity.
Pairing: Serve lightly chilled. Excellent with grilled lamb, walnut churchkhela, honey cake, or as a dessert pour with fresh cherries.
