Banatski Rizling — a Serbian Vojvodina dry white from the Banat region, in the larger family-table format. Crisp, fresh, and Pannonian; an everyday white from the rolling Banat plain.
Heritage: The Banat region of Serbian Vojvodina extends into Romania and Hungary, occupying the broad Pannonian plain east of Belgrade. Rizling — Welschriesling, called Graševina in Croatia and Rizling here — is the most-planted white grape across this region, producing fresh everyday whites in the regional style.
Tasting notes: Pale straw color. Crisp green apple and citrus on the nose. Light-bodied palate with refreshing acidity and a clean finish.
Pairing: Serve well chilled. Excellent with freshwater fish, light poultry, fresh cheese, kulen platters, or as a casual everyday pour.
Pack: 1L glass bottle. Store upright in a cool, dark place; drink young.
