Vina Laguna Pinot Sivi 2020 — a Croatian Istrian Pinot Gris (called Pinot Sivi locally), vintage 2020. Crisp green apple and citrus aromatics; Pinot Gris rendered with Istrian mineral character.
Heritage: Vina Laguna comes from the sun-kissed Istrian peninsula, where vineyards are shaped by the Adriatic sea breeze and red-and-white mineral-rich soils. Pinot Sivi is the Croatian name for Pinot Gris, one of the international varietals grown alongside the indigenous Istrian Malvazija.
Tasting notes: Pale gold color. Delicate green apple and citrus on the nose with a faint floral lift. Crisp, lively palate with refreshing acidity and a clean finish.
Pairing: Serve well chilled. Excellent with seafood, fresh garden salads, light pasta, or as an aperitif.
