Stobi Cabernet Merlot Selection — a Macedonian dry red blend from the Tikveš wine region, built on the classic international Bordeaux pair. Rich, structured, and food-friendly; Cabernet-Merlot rendered with Macedonian sun.
Heritage: Stobi Winery takes its name from the ancient Roman city near Gradsko in central North Macedonia. The Tikveš wine region around the winery is the country's sunniest grape-growing area, producing varietal Cabernet and Merlot alongside the indigenous Vranec. The Selection tier denotes extended cellar attention and select-vineyard sourcing for the blend.
Tasting notes: Deep ruby color. Rich dark-fruit aromas with subtle hints of cedar and spice. Full-bodied palate with smooth tannins and a long balanced finish.
Pairing: Serve at cellar temperature. Excellent with grilled steaks, lamb dishes, kebapi, or aged kashkaval cheese.
